Review for Sy Ginsberg's - United Meat & Deli by Anonymous

The food just isn't good. Oscar Meyer is way better.
Pros: No pros come to mind.
Cons: He was a rude horrible "person". Disrespectful. Cheap. Didn't like you unless you were buying something from him. A liar. I could go on but you would need to add ..

The view, service, and food were all great. It was expensive compared to other restaurants, but the experience was fantastic. This seafood restaurant in Detroit is a must-try!

About Grosse Pointe

Grosse Point, Michigan is a very wealthy suburb of Detroit located on the shores of Lake St. Clair only minutes from the downtown Detroit area. Grosse Point is one of the five affluent communities in this area all with a similar name. Grosse Point Shores, Grosse Point Park, Grosse Point Farms and Grosse Point Woods are the communities. In total this area only encompasses 12 square miles and Grosse Point itself is only a mile big. Home to some of the wealthiest Detroiters, currently and formerly, it is also home to some of the most distinct architecture in the area. Mansions are a common site here including the 80,000 sqs.ft home of John Dodge, founder of Dodge Motor Company. Grosse Point is known as the preppy capital and prides itself on its air of "old money" and "preppy values". It has been the subject matter of many television programs and movies and has been referenced to in several books. The upscale shops, restaurants and golf course can not be compared to anything else in the area. Upscale may not even be a fancy enough word. But it is well worth the visit. You will be amazed at the decadence that can be found in such a small area as well as all the historical buildings and architecture.
