Hello friends and neighbors!

My name is Rachel Longton. I am 28 years old and I am a long time resident of beautiful Allen Park. I have a very supportive husband, Paul, and three amazing girls, Amarra, Zoey Grace, and Jillian. I have been lucky enough to be a stay at home mother for the past 4 years, but now it's time to do something I love and enjoy so dearly.

I have always had a love for art! My eldest daughter and I spent my days and dollars painting our own pottery while spending quality time together. This is when I realized how much I enjoy painting not only my pottery but others' as well. I have since longed to open my own studio. With a little begging and compromising, my husband reluctantly agreed. This journey has been long and hard, but extremely exciting!

I am pleased to open Clayin' Around Pottery, a paint your own pottery studio in downtown Allen Park, the town that I admire and respect so strongly!
