The Royce

The Royce Detroit is a wine shop and wine bar located in Downtown Detroit. We value tradition, sustainability and community. We aim to provide quality service, promote goods that are made with integrity, and support our community. We exist to create a delightful experience where passion and purpose come together. Our mission is to promote a lifestyle of thoughtful consumption and an awareness for the environment through the experience we offer.

As a wine shop, our selection is broad and well curated to highlight the best producers from all major wine regions of the world. Our focus is on providing great quality wines at affordable everyday prices, yet have a selection that will also satisfy the wine collector. Customers can purchase bottles to drink on-site, as well as purchase wines by the glass and order small plates of food that pair well with wine. And unique to The Royce, customers can also shop for well-designed, classic home goods meant to last generations.

Founded by Angela Rutherford and Ping Ho
The Royce is named after Angela’s grandfather, an inspiration to her and a highly respected Detective Sergeant in Flint, MI., who positively impacted the community through his programs with the local schools.
