Title Source is one of the largest independent providers of title insurance, property valuations and settlement services in the nation. Title Source was founded in 1997 through the acquisition of Campbell Title Insurance Company of Michigan; a small agency with a 20-year history of serving financial institutions, real estate professionals and attorneys in the southeast Michigan market. Title Source developed a strategy to integrate and streamline title and settlement services into the entire mortgage process. The company embarked on a rapid expansion plan, offering title insurance, appraisal and survey vendor management and closing services in all 50 states. In December 1999, software maker Intuit purchased Title Source in connection with its acquisition of Rock Financial. Jeff Eisenshtadt stayed on as CEO and President of the company and led the expansion of services and geographic coverage. In July 2002, he became a part of a small group of private investors that repurchased Title Source from Intuit. Today, Title Source is a preferred provider to nine of the top ten retail mortgage lenders. We employ close to 3,000 team members and were named as a Detroit Free Press Top Workplace for the last seven consecutive years.
